Came for a family visit at this restaurant and, while the interior is beautiful and nicely decorated, my overall experience with the food was disappointing. I ordered the risotto, and it was genuinely undercooked..not just slightly firm, but actually crunchy. I even asked someone else at the table to try it, and they agreed it was clearly not cooked properly. We sent it back, but the waitress returned saying the chef insisted it was meant to be that way. I was quite taken aback by that response, especially as someone who has had (and enjoyed) many risottos before in MANY of my reviews. I know the rice should be tender with a slight bite, not hard. I’m also not a particularly hard person to please, so this was frustrating. I decided to switch to a ribeye steak instead. It eventually arrived after everyone else had finished their meals, which I didn’t mind. That said, I do want to mention that the waitress handled the situation as well as she could. She was polite and kept apologising, and it was clear the issue wasn’t her fault at all! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Seasons restaurant Wickersley has only been open a matter of weeks so we thought we would give it a go All four of us weren't disappointed, from the moment we stepped in the professional service and relaxing atmosphere started, the service was professional the food was exceptional the whole dining experience was a pleasure would highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
