I recently visited Second Cup Café on 17 Ave SW in Calgary, and I have to say that under the new management, the service, quality, and overall customer care have improved significantly. The positive changes are noticeable from the moment you walk through the door. The café has a warm, peaceful, and welcoming atmosphere, making it an excellent place to study, unwind after a busy day, catch up with friends, or simply relax with a great cup of coffee. There is plenty of comfortable seating available indoors, along with outdoor seating that is perfect for enjoying Calgary’s beautiful spring and summer weather. One of the most convenient features is the drive-through service, which makes ordering quick and easy when you’re in a hurry. The café is also open early at 6:30 a.m. and stays open until 8:00 p.m., making it a convenient option whether you’re looking for an early morning coffee, a midday break, or an evening place to relax. Inside, the environment is clean, comfortable, and complemented by pleasant background music that creates a relaxing ambiance. The aroma of freshly ground and brewed coffee fills the café, making every visit an enjoyable experience. The menu offers a wide variety of beverages at affordable prices. My personal favorites are the protein drinks and the delicious caramel coffee, although there are many other excellent options to choose from. The food and snacks are always fresh, well-presented, and carefully maintained. What truly stands out is the friendly and attentive staff who consistently provide excellent customer service. Their commitment to creating a positive experience for customers is evident and greatly appreciated. Another wonderful feature is that this café is pet-friendly. Dog owners will be happy to know that their furry companions can enjoy complimentary pup cups, which always seem to be a big hit with the dogs. Overall, Second Cup Café on 17 Ave SW is a fantastic place to grab your favorite drink, enjoy quality food, relax in a comfortable setting, or spend time with friends. With its improved management, excellent service, convenient hours, affordable prices, welcoming atmosphere, drive-through service, and pet-friendly environment, it has become one of my favorite cafés in Calgary.
