Decided to give this place a chance. Near where I work. Just wanted a ham sandwich. Never been in there before. And I won't be going back. Asked if I wanted chips or salad on side. I said salad. Also explained I wanted to take it away. He pulled a hovis bag out and went to work. Handed me a plastic box. I looked inside as I walked out and just a ham sandwich. No salad. Margarine. Plain crappy bread. I shouted back, excuse me, there is no salad. He said no salad for takeaways! And that delightfully crap sandwich cost me £5.90 Total rip off. Now if I had gone back to work saying how good it was, then they would have repeat business. To add insult to injury there was a sign outside saying meal deal. Sandwich and a can, take away, £4.99 Fair to say I won't be going back. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

well i don’t quite not what to say to be honest , came here with the hubby the food was cold and on top of that ive noticed another review about the atmosphere going on between the staff ( specifically the boss and the young girl ) not only is it unprofessional but it is wrong! the girl herself seems lovely all i can say is i deffinatleh not be supporting this cafe due to this behaviour Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We visited Seren Cafe in Neath recently, and I genuinely wish we’d chosen somewhere else. My order was messed up not once, but twice, and instead of fixing it politely, the staff tried to argue with us as if it was our fault. The atmosphere was uncomfortable from the start, and things only got worse. I was willing to just eat the incorrect food to avoid any further confrontation, but then a staff member started loudly bad-mouthing us to other staff within earshot. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I ended up leaving without eating my food. The rest of my group said their food was decent, but the two bites I did take were overly greasy and completely lacking in flavour. Safe to say I won’t be coming back. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £1–10
