While visiting this area called in to have a drink/eats. Absolutely first class. Cafe/very helpful and friendly staff. Free ‘open’ WiFi. Furniture etc displays lovely. Prices seem fair. Just not enough time to have a proper lookaround so will try to go back if possible..certainly at a future date.

The cafe is always clean and toilets. The staff always so friendly and accommodating. Huge food portions and well presented and reasonable prices. Served in good time. Varied menu and a daily specials board. Great deserts and an ice cream counter. The shop is well layed out with many varied and good quality items. The childrens section is great, selling things that are just that little bit different. Varied prices from affordable pieces to the higher end in the shop, from clothes, gifts, children section, jewellery, etc. Again staff always presentable and helpful and polite. The garden section has an array of plants and items related to gardening. The furniture department has very unique and fine quality items but is on the higher end when it comes to prices. Presented and layed out very nicely. Also has a lift for anyone whom may it to get from ground level (furniture department) to raised level to shop, cafe and garden centre area.

First time visiting Shackletons today and was pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely cooked breakfast, bought some nice plants and a stylish bedroom mirror. Staff really nice and helpful. I thought this was just a garden centre, but it also has a large furniture store. No flat packed tat. A wide range of good quality well made modern furniture at reasonable prices. This is now my favourite "garden centre" in the North West. Can't wait to visit again.
