When I say this place is THE BEST Chinese restaurant in south wales, I mean it. I’ve lived in Cardiff, London, Manchester, no one does it like Shanghai Chef. I feel so lucky to live local to this legend. Always fantastic portions, friendly service and incredible food. I couldn’t eat Chinese food if it didn’t come from here. Shame to hear Steve has left! We was great at customer service and always made us feel welcome. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If i could give it zero stars i would. Absolutely shocking service,after working all day all we wanted to do was sit down with a rare treat takeaway and relax we ordered from this place at 6.40 pm after being told with unbelievable attitude that the food was with the driver and should arrive any minute, after almost 3 hours i contacted just eat who phoned the restaurant themselves and i was shocked to hear that they had told just eat that the food had been delivered 2 hours previous trying to con me out of £45.00 luckly i saved all the phone call logs and records of me chasing up my order and have been given a full refund. Absolutely disgusting conning and unprofessional service will never use again.
