We stopped at The Shears Inn for lunch on our way home today, and what an incredible find! This gorgeous country pub has a lovely indoor dining area, but with the beautiful weather we chose to sit outside in the shade with our dog, which was perfect. We received such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived, and the food was absolutely delicious. The Thai fishcakes were packed with flavour, the fajita schnitzel was outstanding, and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked. Every dish exceeded our expectations. Friendly service, fantastic food, and a lovely setting – we'll definitely be making a detour to visit again. Highly recommended!

Outstanding stay. Meal was beautifully presented and thought out. Amazing taste profiles! The bedrooms were clean and comfy and the decoration was quirky and unique - perfect for me. Can't wait for an excuse to come back.
