First time trying this restaurant and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. I ordered the jerk pork with rice and peas, and it was not worth the price at all. The portion was small and definitely not enough for one person, especially for what they charge. The food had very little flavor, barely any pork, and overall it just felt like a waste of money. I’ve been to many Jamaican restaurants, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Glorious establishment, amazing food. Praise the Lord Shelleys Kitchen exists!! This restaurant is Christian run, and I love it! With Reggae worship music and the various Christian signs and posters, it's the perfect atmosphere. I got a small oxtail lunch with fried dumpling and plantains. The oxtail was beautifully cooked and it's sauce was fantastic. The rice and peas was exactly what it's supposed to be (and that's perfect). The plantains we're so so good, I love plantains!! Finally the fried dumpling was also fantabulous, just amazing!! As a side note, the small amount of coleslaw was also good, just like the rice and peas it was exactly what it's supposed to be. Overall, I love everything and I pray the God would bless this business to help it thrive!!!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My kids love going there with me. The food is consistently good. I am a repeat customer due to the fact that I can rely on good service, larger than average portions and very tasty food. I have had nothing but good experiences purchasing food from this establishment. I trust Shelly's kitchen!
