We rang them 15 minutes ago and ask them for sit in they said its fine we are open we went there in 7 min its says online they close at 11:30 we went there 10:45 and they said now we closed we our kitchen is closed the service is very third class i dont want to say anything else. Just had a fantastic meal at Shish Mahal last night, family run, super friendly. Food was amazing. Highly recommend. Recently took home delivery of a wonderful vindaloo. Nicely hot, without having that overbearing heat that some do. The predominant flavour was tomato, so that was nice. Then just the other day a wonderful bhuna stopped by, with a cornucopia of flavours swishing about. A bit like a tasteful carousel. In both cases the chicken was plentiful and beautifully cooked, and the nan bread was appropriately bready. Losing a star for meal temperature. Mains and nans were nice and hot, as both came surrounded by metal foil. Pakora was presented in a polystyrene tray and was rather on the lukewarm side. Lovely taste, but it does need to be piping hot, I feel. Food: 4 Service: 5
