The lobster supper at Shore Club was a total highlight of our family’s time in Nova Scotia. The atmosphere was lovely (welcoming, casual, clean, cute decor). The food was excellent, we loved everything. Great service. Would love to return some day and would recommend highly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

i’m local and this is the first time i’ve been to the shore club. the atmosphere is cute and the staff friendly. i got the unlimited salad bar and the vegetarian tarka dhal meal. i know this is a seafood restaurant but the tarka dhal (the only vegetarian option) was really horrible. it was worse than cafeteria quality. there was no flavour, it was so bland and tasteless and mushy. i wish i had not gotten it at all and just paid for the salad bar. according to my friends, the mussels were alright. many of them on each plate were closed and did not open, so they had to be tossed. the salad bar was okay. a bunch of mixing bowls in a boat, mostly consisting of different bowls filled with pasta salad, a potato salad, and some other veggie salads. overall, wasn’t a bad experience but also not the best. i’ve been to other lobster dinner restaurants where the other meal options (for example, steak and potatoes is a common alternative, or haddock and veggies) were not exorbitantly priced. and, baddeck lobster dinner in cape breton inclues all you can eat mussels AND seafood chowder. so keep your eye out for better value lobster dinners. come here for the vibe and the experience if you don’t mind the cost and that what you’re getting isn’t the greatest value out there. :) Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

First time here. Beware the chicken cordon blue. It's basically frozen out of a box. I couldn't eat it and polity told the waitress. She apologized but it was not taken off my bill. Note there were two small bites gone. Many of the salads were empty and the cold slaw was a watery mess in the bottom of the bowl. The salads looked store bought. Lobster my husband had was fine. Of course u cook lobster in salt water and melt butter we buy off the boats and do that so no big deal. I notice the owner never replies or acknowledges problems on here. With my frozen chicken I got a small soup of vegetables and two very small roast potatoes, overdone. For what we paid it was ridiculous. Thank goodness for Matt Minglewood. He saved the day.
