Really good chippy and very reasonably priced! We ordered fish and chips with peas, two portions of cheesy chips and gravy, and sausage and chips, and the whole lot only came to around £26. The chips were proper fresh chippy chips rather than frozen ones, and the cheese-to-gravy ratio on the cheesy chips was perfect! The fish was great too. The only slight criticism was that the sausage wasn't the best, but everything else was spot on. We got ours as a takeaway and ate it as a picnic with the kids on the green at the front, which was lovely. They also have an indoor seating area if you'd rather eat in. It was very busy and we had to queue at the door, so I'd recommend giving yourself plenty of time. There was an event on in the park when we visited, which may have made it even busier, but it definitely seems to be a very popular chippy! Great food, good portions and excellent value for money. We'd definitely go back and would happily recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5

Ordered fish, chips and peas. Fish was overcooked and dry but batter was very thick and a soggy greasy mess, peas were just a solid hard mass with crispy dried bits and with black specks of something in them, chips were just 'ok'..won't be calling again.
