We have been regular customers of Silver Spoon for the past two years and until now I never felt the need to leave a negative review. While there have always been some attitude issues with certain staff members, we continued to support the business because the food was generally good and management used to be more accommodating. Unfortunately, our recent experience was extremely disappointing. We visited yesterday to place a large order because we had last-minute guests coming over. In the past, management was flexible and reasonable when it came to accommodating requests or making small adjustments to large orders. This time, however, the staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. There is absolutely no reason for regular customers to be treated with such attitude. What made matters worse was the quality of the food. We purchased two containers of Chana Daal, and both had clearly gone bad. We only realized this after serving ourselves and tasting it. As a result, we could not serve it to our guests, which was both embarrassing and frustrating. What disappoints me most is the change in customer service. When the business was newer, staff were always eager to ask customers for Google reviews and were noticeably friendlier. Now that they have established a reputation, the customer care seems to have disappeared. Serving spoiled food and treating loyal customers poorly is unacceptable. After years of supporting this restaurant, this was by far the worst experience we have had. Management needs to seriously address both food quality control and customer service. We bought food from silver spoon Milton for 35 people and after eating 25 people got sick with diarrhea. We already complained to city of Milton and food health & inspection.
