My friend and I have always wanted to visit Silver tree bakery and we had the opportunity so we took it and boy we wasn't disappointed. When we arrived we were lucky to secure a parking spot but as it was getting busier people were finding it difficult. The que was long but we didnt mind as we saw regular delights of freshly baked goods coming from the kitchen opposite being taken into the bakery which temped us, the only problem was what to choose for lunch as the sound of everything on the board outside was mouthwatering. We finally got in there, it was small ( could fit around 5 customers in, but we didnt care, its cute) and i knew i was going to spend more money than I originally thought. The selection of cakes and freshly baked bread was a delight. I ordered the roast been sandwich, a freshly baked focaccia, a selection of cakes to take home and a pumpkin spice latte. We found a seat outside and took in the lovely surroundings, you could have been anywhere in the countryside, not by a industrial estate it was that peaceful. We had to wait a short while for as they are freshly made to order which is fantastic, when it arrived it was huge and very filling, it was divine. The cakes... wow just incredible, they tasted beautiful, the fillings were plentiful and the coffee was lovely with the whipped cream and a pumpkin on top. All in all it was a treat visiting this place and we definitely will be going back as its a real gem of a place. I just dont know why we waited so long to go.
