Overall, I had a decent dining experience at Simba. I ordered the Simba grill platter and upgraded the fries to mogo. I will admit, I did feel the portion size was a bit on the smaller side considering what I paid for the meal. Majority of the plate was the fried cassava. The ribs stood out as my favourite. I feel like I tasted more of the Indian influence rather than the East African flavours. The shop is quite old but has a charm to it. Staff are friendly too. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid street parking

Service was great. Some of the food was great. Came here for the E. African food and taste. The Chana Bateta was not that great. Other items were great. Ambience needs some work. Place looks old. Terrible food! They buy manufactured roti and call them chapati, the ugali is porridge like with lumps, no cutlery only folks. Overall the food is terrible, tasteless, cold, poor presentation in small plates! I have never seen an african restaurant whereby all the foods taste pathetic, clearly the chef is NOT african. Embarassing! No cooked veges for an african restaurant, just the usual few pieces of lettuce.
