We really were looking forward to our dinner here because it has good reviews, a unique menu, and a beautiful atmosphere. Unfortunately, this was a deeply disappointing experience. We were a group of 4 with a child who visited on a Tuesday evening. We arrived at 7:35 and we were seated right away. However, the server was all alone and far too busy to handle all the customers on her own. It took 20 minutes for her to visit our table to take our order. We weren't seen for another 45 minutes after that. During this time, we had to find our own water (we borrowed from another table) because the server was too busy. There were lots of take-out orders coming out of the kitchen and being picked up by delivery people, so I believe those orders were being prioritized over the dine-in customers. Our appetizer arrived at 8:45 and we scarfed that down between the 4 of us as we were there for over an hour and hungry. Unfortunately, only 3 of 4 of the meals we ordered arrived. The meals didn't come until 9:05 - so it took 1.5 hours. Since it was getting late, and we didn't have time to wait for the final order, we just asked to pack the food and pay our bill. We did spend a few minutes tasting our food at the table before having to leave, but we didn't really get to enjoy it. The presentation was lovely, but the taste wasn't all that good. The tacos were decent, but the sushi was really off - I ordered the aguachile sushi. The aguachile had a lot of liquid and it made the sushi wet and its flavour was so overpowering that you couldn't really taste the sushi itself. I really wanted to enjoy this dish, as I like aguachile and I like sushi, but combined together was not appetizing. We did order another type of sushi, and maybe that one would've tasted better, but unfortunately, it never came. The server was given an impossible job and was trying her best. She apologized and we appreciate that she gave us 20% off and free churros. We thanked her for that and gave her a tip. So I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because she tried to make it right. Overall, this is one of the most disappointing experiences I've had at a restaurant in Toronto. I understand it's difficult for restaurants to turn a profit, so Management tries to save costs by minimizing staff and focusing on take-out orders. If that's the case, they really should've turned us away when we arrived, because they did not have the capacity to serve us. By choosing to serve us when they didn't have the capacity to do so resulted in a negative customer experience and the server feeling guilty over something that she has no control over. Consequently, we won't return and we won't recommend Sinaloa Factory to others. Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The food was 10/10 and staff were very friendly. I wanted to try something different, hence I was not too familiar with this kind of food and the waitress was very helpful in explaining the dishes. Portion sizes were adequate and the atmosphere was lovely. It was my first time visiting after a recommendation from my brother. This seems to be his go to spot and I would definitely be visiting again. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Celebrated my brothers engagement here, Andrea and the rest of the team did an amazing job and went out of their way to buy balloons!! Food was great we got the birria tacos and the Toronto roll, would 100% recommend! Shout out to Andrea again for the amazing service!
