The sunset from Slake Brewing’s deck is absolutely amazing! Such a beautiful view over the County—perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and watch the sky change colours. Definitely worth coming for the sunset. We’ll be back!

Seriously, our favorite brewery in PEC! Why did we wait until our last day to visit? If you love hazy, juicy, "milkshake-style" IPAs, this is your place. Every beer we tried was outstanding, and we left with plenty of cans (and merch!) to take home. The setting is beautiful, with sweeping views over the surrounding farms over to the Sandbanks. The taproom has a fun, modern vibe, and the staff was incredible. They took the time to chat with us, answer questions, and genuinely made us feel welcome. One tip: don't turn around! It really does feel like you're driving nowhere. Follow the signs through the fields, up the hill, and through the forest....just like they say. Even Google Maps makes it seem like the road ends, but it doesn't. You don't have to walk. Keep driving until you reach the parking lot. Trust us...you're almost there! If you're planning a trip to PEC, make Slake a priority. They even have delicious tacos and quesadillas to fuel your visit! We only wish we'd gone sooner, it was recommended by friends from Toronto, and they were absolutely right.

Beautiful property with delicious small batch beers on tap and a good cantina with fresh, small bites. The staff were really friendly. The chicken quesadilla was a good portion to share for two people. There is also a take away cooler for beers to go.
