I really want to support this business but have found the cook quality so inconsistent in the last 12 months. Such a shame as the chap on the till is lovely young kid who just wants to please his customers and gives his best. Every other time, if you are lucky, you’ll get lovely crisp fish in a light batter, every other time we’ve gotten home to find the fish drenched in oil and the batter fallen off. I will happily pay these prices when the food is good, but can’t justify spending it when it was like it was today. Awful, sodden fish. Few times used this chippy, recently chips are cold , raw at times.Its a shame as the other cooks ,were very good.With the other young lad, use to get a good portion of chips for med, and he was helpful.Its a shame,.
