I tried Soi Ram for the first time today and shared the Khao Soi and the Pad See Ew with a friend. Both were very flavourful and delicious. What stood out and impressed me the most was the service. From beginning to end, the service was impeccable and intentional. Our server asked us if we were able to shuffle down a table because she was making room for a 6-top, not a big deal at all for us. She then asked if we wanted more room in between tables, again not a big deal for us but she helped us move the table anyways. For the trouble, she brought out complimentary rambutan drinks that were very refreshing. I told the server when we were ordering that we were sharing both dishes and if they could bring side plates and bowls. She only brought out plates at first and I was going to remind her about bowls when the food came out. But when the Khao Soi came out, the expo already had two bowls in his hands. We were constantly being checked on and she was going around constantly to refill waters. When the expo was running food to other tables and noticed we were finished, he came by to clear the plates to give us more room. Everything felt very intentional and everybody had a great attitude. This is now our favourite Thai restaurant in BC. We ordered the nam tok (waterfall) beef and the drunken noodles. Both of them were delicious and the perfect spice level. The service was excellent as well. We would definitely recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have eaten at a string of Thai places in the lower mainland and Soi Ram has been the most memorable by far. The decor is fun and unique and we had a great convo with the server about the 90s posters in the bathroom. The food was also delicious, super flavourful, with great portions. We ordered the Pad Kra Pai Muu and a waterfall beef. Honestly, wish we could have tried it all, but we’ll be back again with friends to try more of the menu!
