This is a great place to experience Ethiopian cuisine, especially if you want to learn about the country’s unique food culture and traditional way of eating. The food was of excellent quality and absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend trying the traditional honey wine. The lady who served us was incredibly kind and took the time to answer all of our questions. She explained the proper way to eat the dishes and gave us excellent recommendations on what to order from the menu. Overall, we loved both the food and the warm hospitality. Had the sambusas, shiro, eritrean tea, and passionfruit smoothie. All of them were absolutely delicious and I was immensely surprised to see that there weren't more people visiting for lunch. Sophe was warm, friendly, and helpful throughout too. Please drop by for a visit if you find yourself in the area!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious Ethiopian/Eritrean food. Found it through a google search. It's run by a lady, I assume Sophe, she is a one woman band. The place feels like her living room and js is very cosily decorated with comfy chairs. The menu is small compared to the other larger Ethiopian restos at the top of Caledonian road closer to Kings Cross. Which now only open after 5 pm on weekdays. We ordered the shared platter - with a meat main - spicy and two different lentils plus chickpeas, greens and salad and a yummy beetroot and potato braise. With injera. We had two beers and a soft drink. Everything was delicious and finger licking good. Will definitely go back. Per head it was 20 quid.
