Hi Rafal,As a family-run local restaurant, we are saddened to see your review. It can be tough to be faced with such passionate negativity after a hard day of work.In any case, we appreciate that the culinary experience can sometimes be subjective, and we cannot expect our authentic recipes to please everyone.However, given that reviews are public, we do at least wish to clarify the following for anyone considering coming to see us:The addition of a 12.5% discretionary service charge is clearly outlined on our menu, which is provided to all customers before ordering. As is standard across the majority of restaurant venues, customers are free to request that the service charge be removed from the bill at any point.Our pizzas are made with fresh ingredients, including fresh mozzarella, which naturally releases moisture during the cooking process, as well as a drizzle of olive oil. We would have been grateful if, at any point during your experience, you had voiced that you were unhappy with your food. Instead, when our waitress asked if you were happy, you had no complaints. Your partner finished her entire pizza, and you left only one slice of yours. That doesn’t quite sound like the experience of someone who found the pizzas “completely inedible” and “flat-out disgusting”.We are sorry that you found our restaurant not to your tastes, and that you found our restaurant’s atmosphere unbearable. We are a small, family-run business and genuinely love our restaurant, as do the majority of people who choose to eat with us. We wish you and your partner well.
