We had the loveliest family meal at Soul. We were a party of 11, celebrating my son's birthday. All the food was exceptional, fresh and really tasty, considering there was so many of us, everything arrived in good time and was nicely presented. Everyone enjoyed their food. The staff made a real fuss of my son for his birthday too. We can't wait to go back!! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

Absolutely shocked at the standard of food. Donburi dishes are literally just plain rice and a horrible either piece of old soggy salmon and a deep fried processed piece of (allegedly)pork. No sauce, no veg, no trimmings. Cutlery would have helped. We all had to sit and stare in disbelief at our horrible food while waiting for them to bring some implements to eat it with. The staff were pleasant but had absolutely no idea about the food. Still in shock. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £10–20

I particularly recommend their seafood dishes. The chef's cooking techniques are very authentic, reminiscent of the seafood meals you'd have in places like Sai Kung in Hong Kong. They don’t overuse seasoning, which allows the natural freshness and texture of the seafood to shine through. Besides the seafood, their other small dishes are also quite impressive in flavor.".
