Really wanted to love the food here. Positives: The jerk chicken isn’t too bad for a little spot, the portions are very generous for the price, and they are extremely friendly. What killed it for me was how sweet the Oxtail is. It’s a shame because the quality & cook of the oxtail meat itself was nice - but farrrr too sweet to enjoy and not generally cooked that way, at least in Jamaica. Worth trying to see if it suits your tastes, but not a 5 star for me. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Food was delicious. Curry chicken was just the right amount of spice. Oxtail was tender. Service was friendly. Lunch was great and because it was summer there wasn't a whole herd of high school students there. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Tried out Spice Rack, a small local Caribbean fusion spot, and it absolutely delivers. The standout is the jerk chicken—perfectly seasoned, smoky, and packed with flavor. That said, the homemade hot sauce is a must-try. It’s got the kind of heat and depth that takes everything up a notch. On top of that, portions are generous and prices are very affordable, so you’re getting great value for the quality and quantity. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving bold, satisfying flavors.
