PLEEESE Theresa!!!  Review the performance of your recently added employee at Cash and as a Barista.
She can not make a cappuccino.  We have complained to your Cafe Supervisor and she is still burning the milk.
I burned my mouth today.!  We were there at noon!  We returned our Cappuccinos a week ago and spoke to the supervisor after this young women said " Well let them cool down".   Bad attitude.!  Have her make you one!

The Italian Centre is not a new discovery but I’ve been holding out on trying the cafe side of the market as I’m not really a fan of the traditional crust. Well, when the weather beamed to be a sunny and “let’s hang out on your barely used deck” kind of day; I went to pick up some desserts and made eye contact with the oven. Lo and behold; my encounter with Spinelli.

As crowded as you’d expect the space to be since looking in you don’t deem the whole shopping centre to be all that roomy, I was pleasantly surprised with how well lit the space was and how they managed to have so many tables available. The cafe side is attached to the baked goods sharing the same glassed display. Walking towards the counter you’ll find pre made sandwiches and panini’s where you can order and get reheated. There were three separate menu’s scattered around the counter. Pizza menu, cafe menu and a specials menu.

I only decided on ordering a pizza this visit, service was quick and friendly. The wait for the pizza took around 15 minutes. They do make each pizza per order though!

Prosciutto Arugula - ($15) - 3/5 - One of their white pizza’s, decorated with prosciutto, bocconcini, arugula, and cherry tomatoes; Finished with olive oil and a balsamic glaze. All ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and we never bit into one tomato that wasn’t sweet and juicy, granted not a lot of pizzerias are in the same vicinity to a grocery store. Portion size was huge. Especially for $15. Uhm yes please.

Verdict. Pizza wise, I like it better than Famoso’s. Would I be craving this specifically anytime soon? Doubt it.

Came in at lunch hour on a Friday Took about 15 minutes with 5 people in front of me to get to the front to order. Patrons were scrambling to find a table even though they hadn't ordered yet and had friends waiting in line to order. So lots of tables occupied by people not actually eating. When I did get my food I had nowhere to sit.

I ordered a mochachino (steamed 2% lucerne chocolate milk and espresso) and a prosciutto, tomato, bail, bocconcini panino. When I ordered the person taking my order was visibly confused and stressed. Not her fault. It seemed like everyone working here was worn a bit thin. She was confused when I ordered my sandwich, even though there are only two types of sandwich. I waited about ten minutes for my sandwich even though they are pre-made. There was a large bin in a refrigerator that my sandwich was pulled out of and placed in a panini press. I drank my mocha standing by the hand off counter. I watched and it was very confusing for people knowing what food would be delivered to their table and what food they had to come to the counter to get. When I did get my sandwich I had to go eat in my car because other patrons were holding tables, not eating, silly.

The panini was standard nothing spectacular. Mine did not have tomato on it though it was supposed to. I didn't bother going back inside to get it fixed, just didn't seem worth it to wait in line again and explain myself. So it turned out to be basil, prosciutto, and cheese on a bun for almost $10.00. The mocha was ok, not too sweet which was nice.

All in all I'd skip the cafe if I went back. The grocery store and bakery looked nice though. I think this place has some kinks to work out mostly because I think it's new.

Definitely not worth heading to the cafe to eat in at lunch unless you're lucky enough to get a table. Space is limited for how busy it is.
