Lovely food, lots of options to choose from! Had the chicken breast which has a gorgeous season and char to it, the greens are in a buttery garlic sauce/dressing and the super rice has quinoa, endamame beans and pomegranate. Really recommend The other dish was chicken breast, mash and gravy. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cracking spot this ! Nice decor great staff spotlessly clean well stocked bar tremendous range of beers and the food is very good. I had the drum and thigh with spicy rice salt and pepper fries and very nice spicy corn on the cob all in all a great experience with great but not intrusive service. Couple of points the gravy could have been slightly thicker and moist towels would have been nice so go on give it a go ! Absolutely outstanding roast dinner at Spitroast Smithdown today. There were three of us eating and every plate was superb. The beef was beautifully cooked – tender, full of flavour and covered in rich, proper gravy ( more jugs of gravy available free on request) . The Yorkshire puddings were huge and crisp, the roast potatoes were spot on, and the seasonal veg was fresh and well balanced. The sweet potato mash excellent. We also added cauliflower cheese and festive pigs in blankets, which were both superb. Generous portions, great presentation , atmosphere was relaxed , staff friendly and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a Sunday roast.. Superb roast dinners and we left absolutely stuffed xx – we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
