I have come here for many years and unfortunately wont be returning. Our service by the young 15 year old girls was shocking, they clearly view this as just a time to gossip and not to value customers. I waited 30 minutes with my plates infront of me before finally asking for them to be taken away. I had to ask for my same drink for my wife six times before it reached my table. When speaking to the manager I felt she was extremely passive aggressive and did not speak to anyone with any respect including customers and staff, she is clearly not fit for the job. I didn’t see her doing absolutely anything but ordering people about and refusing to deal with complaints! I did however appreciate the carvery chef and the bartender Jemma as that was the best customer service we received in all of this! the chef was very friendly with beautiful food and Jemma was extremely lovely and helpful unlike the other staff members who we couldn’t get a hold of if we tried. Nice place but I am shocked at how we were treated by rude and lazy staff. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

The food was good pub food. My choice was suboptimal but my companions fared better. Beer was good too. Good friendly service. I left feeling happy. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My family and I love the Sportsmans Inn, we've been going for years! Great food and lovely staff. I highly recommend.
