While on vacation in Waterloo we found this gem of a restaurant for dinner. The food & service was excellent! We had the Vienna Chicken Schnitzel & everything was hot & cooked to perfection. And very reasonable too. We would definitely recommend this place. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: The restaurant is located near the St Jacobs Market & the Hilton hotels. There's a banquet hall adjacent to the restaurant.

I had a great experience at St. George Restaurant. The food is authentic Eastern European and absolutely delicious, from the rich goulash to the crispy schnitzel, chicken wrapped in bacon, pork burger, and fresh fish dishes. Everything was prepared with care and tasted high quality. You can really tell it’s a family-owned place, as the service feels warm and welcoming. The only drawback for me is the atmosphere, it’s not the coziest or most luxurious setting. But honestly, the amazing food and genuine hospitality more than make up for it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for traditional Eastern European comfort food in Waterloo. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $40–50
