This cozy cafe is located along the Esplanade near the St. Lawrence community center. They serve breakfast all day which is a huge bonus if your a late riser like me. Most importantly the food is delicious and very reasonably priced . As I am in the area I intend to make this place a regular stop. In addition to breakfast they have pastries and an extensive lunch menu. The coffee and other cafe drinks are also good and well priced. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere, good quality food, and value for your money look no further. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately, this was a one-star experience. The café seemed to have a fly problem, and the woman working there was actively chasing flies around with an electric fly swatter while I was eating. Everything also felt grimy and generally unclean. The omelette was poorly prepared. It was watery because the tomatoes hadn’t been cooked down properly, the onion still had pieces of the tough outer layer attached, and the cheese hadn’t been shredded properly, leaving large chunks scattered over the top instead of melting into the omelette. I couldn’t finish it and ended up leaving. The atmosphere didn’t help. The front windows were covered with posters that blocked much of the natural light, making the space feel dark and cluttered. There were also racks of clothing and various miscellaneous items for sale throughout the café, which made it feel more like a flea market than a restaurant. To make things even stranger, the tables were covered with branding for “St. Lawrence Tax & Accounting,” so it wasn’t even clear whether this was a café, a retail shop, or an accounting office. Overall, the place felt disorganized, unkempt, and not somewhere I’d return to. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $1–10

I had a really great experience at St. Lawrence Cafe! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I tried one of their espresso drinks and it was perfectly made—rich and smooth. They also had a nice variety of snacks and treats, and everything tasted fresh. It’s a great little spot whether you’re grabbing something to go or sitting in to relax. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20
