If you're craving authentic Hong Kong comfort food that hits every nostalgic note, Star Fast Food absolutely delivers. From the moment you sit down, the energy is classic cha chaan teng—fast, no-nonsense, and focused on getting steaming-hot plates to your table in minutes. The baked pork chop on fried rice was executed to perfection: the tomato sauce had that ideal balance of tangy and savory, loaded with melted cheese over crispy pork and aromatic fried rice. Their satay beef with macaroni had rich, nutty depth, and the Hong Kong-style milk tea was rich, bold, and silky smooth with zero lingering bitterness. The food looks nothing like the menu. This restaurant is using misleading, AI-generated images to trick customers into coming through the door. When the plate actually arrives, the portions are significantly smaller and look entirely different from the digital fantasy they advertise. Very disappointing experience. The menu did not clearly list all of the ingredients used in the dish, yet additional ingredients were added without any indication. Customers rely on menu descriptions, especially when they have allergies, dietary restrictions, or simply want to know what they are ordering. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, instead of acknowledging the concern or trying to resolve it professionally, the response was rude and dismissive. A simple apology and willingness to correct the order would have been enough. Restaurants should be transparent about what is in their food and should take customer concerns seriously. Unfortunately, the lack of accurate menu information combined with the way the situation was handled made this a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this restaurant based on the service I received. Order type: Delivery Price per person: $20–30
