Lovely friendly independent public house, very clean and ideal for a quiet pint without loud music but friendly clientele. Apparently they do a great pub quiz, all for charity. Would fully recommend a visit.

Took a ride out to Burnham-on-Crouch today and decided to support a local pub by stopping off for a drink and some food - despite these hard times and with an empty Garden we were set upon by a lady who quite aggressively told us we could not put our bikes in the garden - obviously they were getting in the one customers way I would have thought during these difficult times with strict guidelines and with the public already nervous that all business would be welcome and customers despite still being wary would be welcomed with open arms - NOT at the star innWe took our business elsewhere where we were treated very differentlyThe expression jobsworth springs to mind ... I would try the other pubs in Burnham-on-Crouch based upon our welcome today
