We ate dinner at Steffenhagen twice during our stay in Dresden and were happy both times. It’s a pleasant vegan restaurant with thoughtful dishes and friendly service. The wild garlic steak is definitely a must. It had a nice, soft, and juicy texture that worked really well. Their schnitzel, on the other hand, had that good chewy bite you want. It’s impressive how they play with textures here. The plates all looked appealing, and we enjoyed the side salad in particular. They had nice little touches like grapes and microgreens that gave them good contrast and freshness. Everything came across as high-quality and carefully prepared. The waiters were adorable, attentive, and helpful. It made both dinners feel relaxed and chill. I happily recommend Steffenhagen if you’re in Dresden and looking for good (vegan) food.
