Really really good pizza, had a slice of pesto and it came very close to a pizza I ate in Naples. £4 a slice seems expensive until you think about the time taken to get the dough so good, the toppings being delicious. With all good pizza where there are minimal toppings you know it will be good. Really enjoyed it and woll be back for more. Limited seating but that's what you expect Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They weren't kidding when they said it would be crispy. Absolutely spectacular crispy and delicious pizza. The best pizza I've had in the UK, and on par with the pizza in Italy. Run by a couple of really nice guys too. Top tier Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Found this place during the Whitstable Oyster Festival. Initially just got a slice to start the day, but by the time I'd eaten it, I knew I had to come back before we left. This is the best New York style pizza I've had in the UK. The base is crispy but chewy. The sauce is delicious and the cheese perfectly cooked and the crust brushed with garlic butter. I highly recommend Stern Slices, it's a fantastic independent pizza place that gets the basics bang on. You can't ask for much more than that. It's a mark of how good it was that I didn't even think to take a picture as I was too busy eating.
