I went there today and I am really disappointed with portion sizes, not family sized chips, and was more like a large. The veggie burger bun was burnt, we also ordered a large kebab and to be fair it was not a LARGE! There was very little meat in it. called them up and they have said portion size has decreased now and we are under new management... WHAT sort of rationale is this? But we are aware it is under original management therefore, there is an expectation as we have been used to that standard for 7 years and the current portion and quality of food does not reflect that! Furthermore, the fish is dry and crunchy (overcooked). Spent £45 and very disappointed, will not be coming here again. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I walked into your restuarent on the 7th of April 2026 at around 12.30pm. The service was so poor, the chips where soggy and dry, they still had skin on them, the person in the restarant was too busy having a personal call and not bothered about the customer and outsid it says Mr cod and fish restaurant. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Dietary restrictions: Not sure if the manger is trained for this

Have been a loyal customer for 10yrs plus, it was our go to for fish and chips. Portion sizes and quality, always recommended to friends and family. Since the new management took over we have been disappointed and will no longer be ordering . The fish is dry, the batter oily and the position size has decreased. The chips are undercooked, avoid! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
