What a great place! Very good beer list covering many styles. No real big hitters on when I was in but they also have a decent fridge with some. I had a club sandwich which was excellent and really good value, too, as part of the lunchtime deal. Nice and helpful staff. Recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

Hi Ian,Thanks so much for the great review. We are really glad you enjoyed the beer list and found plenty of styles to choose from. Brilliant to hear the club sandwich and lunchtime deal hit the mark, and we’re pleased the team made a good impression too.We rotate our beers regularly, so from time to time you’ll see breweries like LHG, Beak, Vault City and more on the taps or in the fridge. Keep an eye on our socials for updates, or sign up on Untappd to get alerts when something new comes on.Warm regards,The Strand

I visited The Strand on a weekday evening for dinner with my family. Although the food menu was fairly small, everything we ordered was tasty and well prepared. They have an impressive selection of beers and ciders, with plenty of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to choose from. Overall, it's a great spot for a relaxed meal.
