Had a lovely afternoon with a bunch of old friends. Staff were friendly and really lovely and very welcoming. Also had a free jukebox definitely would go again. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been coming to The Strawberry Fields regularly for quite some time, and the difference since the change in management has been remarkable. Lisa, the landlady, is one of the warmest and most welcoming people you’ll meet. She genuinely cares about the pub, her customers, and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. She’s always willing to listen to ideas, try new things, and work hard to make the pub a place people want to return to. It’s no secret that the pub had struggled in the past, with previous management failing to realise its potential. Since taking over, Lisa has completely turned things around. The place is busy again, there’s a great atmosphere, and it’s become a real community pub. Me and several of my friends are here most weekends, and we’re always made to feel welcome. If you’ve visited in the past and didn’t have the best experience, I’d strongly encourage you to give it another try. The Strawberry Fields now has a completely different feel, and much of that is down to Lisa’s hard work, personality, and genuine hospitality. Pop in, say hello to Lisa, and see for yourself. You might be pleasantly surprised. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £30–40
