I really like Costa coffee and this doesn't disappoint. A very busy outlet in the middle of town always a queue but the staff a friendly fast and helpful. Always worth a visit.

Went for a post hangover meal on a Wednesday on the off chance and what should we find but 2-4-1! Burger was drool worthy and such good value (blue cheese burger, extra topping, chips, salad & onion rings came to a tenner only!) Kitchen area could do with better ventilation or blocking off as back area of pub smells heavily of chip fat. Decor could do with a bit of love but that's kind of the charm. Good Sunday lunches too if you can find a table but the Wednesdays are a real treasure when you're stuck for a dinner out. Will come back to try chicken and peanut butter burger!

Came here for friends bday meal , there was around 12 of us. It was very busy. All ordered mixture of food, roasts, fish and chips, Shepard’s pie etc. The service was chaotic , a drinks order took very long to arrive as did some extra cheese. One of the waitresses was excellent seemed to be the only one who knew what she was doing. The other staff forgot stuff when asked . Asked for some cheese three times . Finally asked the good waitress who sorted it. Understand it was busy but service needs improving . Food was tasty and large portions
