My kid and me went in and ordered 3 footlong subs. While waiting for the subs I asked if I could get some ice in my bottle as its hot. I asked for a cup so I could collect the ice and put it in the bottle. I was told there are no cups. Weird as you do have takeaway cups. I was not given an option to pay for one if needed but told to collect the ice wit my hand and put it in the bottle. I did say it might fall out and wet the place. The lady just shrugged. I tried my best to collect Ice little by little and put it in my bottle. But some did spill over. As soon as this happened the manager on shift (lady in shorts) started yelling saying I wasn't allowed to use the dispenser. Said look at what you've done. We have to clean it now. Who said you could use it. I asked her to lower her voice. But she kept being rude and loud in front of other customers. Have a look at the CCTV. I told her I asked for a cup but was told there was none and I just wanted some ice. She yelled saying I couldn't get any. Asked her why so rude when I asked before going and getting ice. She just kept saying I created a mess and it was a problem as they had to clean up. She put the wet board sign and continued with the same narrative. How embarrassing for me to be told off in front of my kid and other customers over water. Your policy says be kind to your staff but clearly the manager hasn't been advised of the same. Rude over water. Why not have a drip mat or keep the sign out. It's hot weather and a bit of common sense and politeness isn't much of an ask. When I asked her name as she didn't wear a name badge like the others, she ignored. The other lady only said she's the manager. Clearly petrified of the woman with no humanity. Very disappointed and absolutely frustrated as this is not how she sets an example for her team. Meal type: Other Price per person: £20–30 Service: 1

I ordered a footlong sub from subway with chicken, lettuce, cucumber, lite Mayo and cheese, I took a few bites to then find sweet corn and a pepper in my food which I did not order and had put me off my food entirely.
