Paid over the odds for a mediocre, portion controlled footlong sub and was informed by the jobsworth behind the counter that I couldn't get sweetcorn on only half of my sandwich - it had to be the full sandwich or no sweetcorn at all!! So much for choosing the fillings on MY sandwich, that I'D paid for! When I asked her to make it make sense to me, she mumbled something about "company policy" and some other nonsense, eventually saying "I'll do it this time" - as if she was doing me a favour for giving me less of something on a sandwich I'd paid £11 for! If I hadn't paid for it in advance (schoolboy error) I'd have walked out. If my daughter hadn't been with me I'd have launched it across the counter. This service station used to be a fantastic place to visit, but since the new owners took it over, they've ruined it - you only have to look at the many one star reviews as evidence. If only ZERO stars was an option.... AVOID Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
