Extremely disappointing experience. I placed an online order at around 8:25 p.m. with a scheduled pickup time of 8:40 p.m. Shortly after placing my order, I received a call from the store asking what time I would arrive because they said they would be closing in five minutes. This made no sense since the store's posted closing time was 10:00 p.m. I arrived at approximately 8:45 p.m. only to find the store locked. Two employees were inside and clearly saw me trying to enter multiple times. They also saw me calling the store repeatedly, yet they ignored both my presence and my phone calls. Believing there was some temporary issue, I waited outside for about 30 minutes. When I finally asked the two individuals if they were also waiting for the store to reopen, they informed me that they were employees and that the store had closed because they had run out of bread. At no point did they make any effort to tell me this, despite watching me wait outside the entire time. After I told them I had an online order, they eventually handed it to me without any apology. Instead, they were dismissive and rude. When I asked why they hadn't spoken to me earlier, they told me it was my responsibility to ask where my order was and repeatedly told me to "go home." When I asked for their names so I could report the incident, they refused and said it was "none of my business." This wasn't just about an early closure—it was the complete lack of professionalism, communication, accountability, and basic customer service. Waiting outside for 30 minutes while employees knowingly ignored me was unacceptable. I have contacted Subway Customer Relations and requested that this incident be investigated. I hope the franchise owner reviews the security footage and addresses how this situation was handled so that no other customer has to experience the same treatment.
