I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with a recent order from Sudden Chippy. The food quality was entirely unacceptable; the chips served were cold, incredibly dry, and appeared as though they had been sitting out for a significant amount of time rather than being freshly prepared. Seeking a resolution, I returned to the shop the following day to address these concerns. I spoke with a staff member named Mei, but the encounter was deeply frustrating. Rather than offering an apology or a solution, she was remarkably obnoxious and dismissive. Her lack of concern for a customer's experience was unprofessional and suggested a total disregard for service standards. Beyond the poor food and service, the physical state of the premises is concerning. The shop appears old, dilapidated, and in desperate need of a deep clean. Given the visible lack of upkeep and the quality of the food served, I believe a visit from Rochdale Council’s Environmental Health Team is warranted to ensure the establishment is meeting necessary safety and hygiene regulations. I strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere until significant improvements are made to both the facilities and the management's attitude toward food safety.
