Uber this place before dining in. The place is spacious and great service. We ordered the following: 1. Handmade taro paste Shunde milk pudding (The taro paste is really good! I appreciate the chunks of taro that's in the paste. Surprisingly the milk pudding didn't taste as good when we ordered for delivery). 2. Syrup tofu pudding 3. Glutinous rice balls with roasted peanuts crumble (This was amazing! Rice balls were soft and chewy and they're very generous with the peanuts). Would return to give their milk pudding another try, and to try out other desserts. Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$10–20

Sugar Maison felt very overpriced and overhyped from what we saw on social media. We waited about an hour for a table of five, and unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The mango pomelo sago was enjoyable, but that’s also a fairly basic dessert and not something that stood out enough to justify the wait. The milk pudding was disappointing and just not for us. I’ve honestly had much better Chinese desserts in Markham at a fraction of the price, with stronger flavors, better portions, and no need to wait this long. Food: 2 Service: 2
