First time visitor, delighted with everything, service, food and atmosphere. Taj was great, will definitely call again next time we're passing through. Update: we returned on Friday 3 April. Unfortunately, this visit wasn't quite as successful as our first, the food was still okay but not as good as our first visit, it lacked the depth of flavour and our onion bhajis were greasier. Such a shame. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A very very busy Friday night. We arrived at our table 8pm. We have drinks, poppadoms and starters. Yes our mains didn't arrive until 1030pm!!!! One of our guests chicken was still pink in the middle, most of us had gone past being hungry by this time and the food wasn't as amazing as they promised "worth the wait". To top it all off they got the bill wrong, muddled up and spoilt what we had hoped was going to be a wonderful night out I'm Cirencester. Hopefully this was an isolated case, but alas we won't return. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

I've eaten in this restaurant a few times. The food is always good and consistent. I travelled with my son and we always end up choosing the Sultan for its quality and value. Can't wait to visit again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
