great textures and flavours. very much enjoyed. split three dishes and it came to £17 each.

This is one of those places where you go on a first date and have a great time because the food is delicious and the staff are lovely. I wouldn’t know though, need to save this for a first date. In the meantime I’d like to thank my mate Gabe Gabs for decent company (could be better). Price per person: £30–40

I finally gave Summer Dumpling a try after seeing it all over my FYP, but it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was disappointing – it arrived lukewarm, almost cold, the noodles were undercooked, and I expected much more flavour overall. The service, however, was lovely. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed. I really wanted to like it, but the food just didn’t meet the expectations.
