Visited for our son’s birthday. It’s been a while since we last visited and clearly lots has changed. The party was split on food quality, those with mixed grills were happy with it, those who had burgers however said it was average at best, the mushroom risotto was flavourless and watery. Lasagne was reported to be nice as was the curry. The fish was overcooked. Service was mostly very good although the bald headed gentleman snapped at a member of the party when she asked for vinegar. Price - it is unfortunately massively overpriced for the quality of food, they’re serving chain pub level meals at premium prices. And at nearly £7 a pint the drinks are fairly steep too! We left after paying a bill that came in at over £300 and could not hand on heart say it was worth it. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Lovely place, atmosphere great. Good old county pub feel. Staff friendly and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The pub is dog friendly too so that’s always a winner. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a lovely lunch with friends today. Meagan served our table and was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the service we received was excellent. Haven’t been here for such a long time but would definitely recommend the Swan. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
