Really disappointing experience. My friends and I came in and bought a round of drinks. A member of staff came over a short while after we had finished and asked if we wanted any more but when we politely said no, his response was extremely rude. He told us that seats were for paying customers, despite the fact that we had already purchased drinks. The whole interaction felt passive-aggressive and left us feeling awkward and unwelcome, as though we were being pressured to leave. We decided to leave shortly afterwards, but as we were going, we could overhear him speaking negatively about us to colleagues, which was extremely unprofessional. The pub wasn't busy and there were plenty of empty seats available, so there was no reason for the attitude. It completely spoiled what had otherwise been a pleasant catch-up with friends. Customer service costs nothing, and unfortunately this was some of the worst hospitality I've experienced in a pub. Service: 1

What a lovely place. I stayed for one night in a charming room; was full of character and a comfortable bed with crisp white linen. The informal, attentive service was excellent and breakfast delicious. I would definitely go there again. Service: 5

Spent a smashing weekend at The Swan Inn. Staff were so helpful and the food was amazing! Shout out to Ross the chef. I’m Gluten free and he said I could choose whatever I wanted from the menu and he would make it for me. I travelled with 2 friends and we also had 4 dogs between us. This was no problem at all for the staff. We will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy more walks and the beach.
