Terrible meal. Overcooked roast dinner with frozen roast potatoes. Limited choices Staff talking loudly and playing rock music (only music for dinners) in an open kitchen. This used to be a fantastic restaurant. Gone very downhill quickly

We happened to come across The Swan Inn on a drive out. As we drove passed, we decided to turn around and go back. So happy we did. A lovely little pub, with great food, wonderful staff, and can lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to going back.

We have lived in Whaley Bridge for seven years, and we always said we must try The Swan. We managed it tonight and we realised we’ve wasted seven years of our lives! The pub itself is a charming old building with tons of ambience, the staff are incredibly friendly, professional and efficient and the ales are utterly gorgeous and well cellared. And the food, oh the food!!!! Spectacular just doesn’t do it justice! I’m not overly fond of beef, less so burgers, but something drew me to the wagyu burger, and it was just sublime. The most beautiful burger I’ve had in my life. The chips were like the chips my gran used to make in the 60s, but on another level. My wife had the brill and, apparently, the mash was the best she’d ever had. (Mine was the best she’s ever had up until today
