I got the basil chicken and requested "spicy." It was surprisingly excellent with a fried egg on top and *perfect* rice- an ample portion too. I'm pleased, hadn't been to Thaï Express at The Core in YEARS, have never been blown away but also never disappointed. Food: 5

John, it sounds like you had a fantastic comeback visit to Thai Express. We’re thrilled your basil chicken hit the mark—especially with the “spicy” request, that fried egg touch, and the rice in just the right portion. It also means a lot to hear you weren’t disappointed after all those years away. Hope to see you back again soon!
