Take out only and very authentic. I ordered green curry with chicken... absolutely delicious!! Very fresh... nothing frozen. Definitely going back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

It was our families first time eating at Tai Shan via takeout. The staff are kind and attentive when taking your orders. Got the food home and everyone was blown away by the portions and quality of the food. One thing that struck me as odd was our Chicken Chow Mein from the Dinner for 2 special turned out to contain no noodles and just bean sprouts. I tried to call the restaurant to figure out what was going on with that but after 4 attempts of calling I gave up. Image attached for reference as it was definitely not what I ordered. It's a shame I wasn't able to get through to anyone to have this issue addressed as it really killed our excitement for Chinese takeout tonight. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway

It is a common mix-up that customers think chow mein is a noodle dish, but it is actually a bean sprout based dish. It does get confusing, as our "Cantonese chow mein" is a noodle-based dish. This is something that we are aware of, and are more than happy to explain over the phone when ordering. Anything from our "chop suey and chow mein" section on our menu will be bean sprout based. We are sorry that you weren't able to reach us via phone - if your call was placed during opening hours, we may have been busy on the line. Every time I stay at Simcoe I can not and will not eat at any other restaurant than Tai Shan Express. The sesame chicken is the best and only chicken there is in Simcoe. I refuse to eat anything else other than sesame chicken. They don't call me the chicken man for no reason you know.
