Excellent takeaway from here. Chilli and garlic curry properly spicy and lentil masala excellent. Definitely recommend a takeaway from here. Service: 5 Order type: Takeaway

Haven't been here for a good few years and was looking forward to going back. It was a big disappointment as the restaurant is now dated, and only had a handful of customers. The service was really slow (1 course in an hour and 45 minutes) and an Eastern European waitress pushed hard for us to have something from the traditional menu rather than something from the specials menu. When the food finally arrived it wasn't the greatest and definitely not worth the wait. Whilst we were eating our meal two guys waiting for a takeaway Sat down with a pint at the next table, giving the feeling we were just in a bar. Really poor Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Paul, thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify a couple of points. On the day of your visit, our cctv records show that your main was served within approximately 40 minutes of ordering, which is in line with our usual service times. That said, we understand that any wait can feel longer depending on circumstances, and we apologise if your experience felt delayed. We’re also concerned to hear your comments regarding our team. Our staff are trained to support guests in choosing dishes they’ll enjoy, and never to pressure anyone into specific menu choices. We will still review this internally to ensure our standards are consistently upheld. We’re sorry that the food and atmosphere did not meet your expectations on this occasion.
