Tallow's Biggest Fans.. no more! I've been visiting tallow for over a year now and it was orginally the place that cemented steak as my favorite food! ...but Tallow you have gotton greedy and lost your USP (unique selling point) the thing id always tell people is "you must go to tallow its a really cheap steak place but its actually really good". So whats changed, well for starters i'm wondering if standards have fallen? The steak did not quite live up to how it seemed before in terms of quality and size? It certainly looked a little smaller (my group of 5 has been 4 times before) and the prices have increased by a margin of 40%+ The sauces used to be £1, the steak was £10 and the sides were £4. Now the steak is £14, sides are £5 and the sauces are £2.50 So for an pretty avarage steak dinner you're now paying £21.5 ... i feel like you're losing the whole appeal of tallow at this price i'll now be shopping around and eating steak somewhere else where i can choose a better cut and have it cooked rare. (Tallows other USP is they have one cut of meat "butler steak" and they cook it usually medium rare) I hope this doesnt hurt the business as i genuinely loved tallow my norwich friend group orginally met there so we named ourself the tallow lovers ...i'm afraid we wont be back as its lost what made it special. I know prices are up but raising them 40% is wild. Least the ice cream is still £0.99 imo you should put the steak back to £11 (yes we ate frequently enough to see the small jump at one point) and raise ice creams to £4-5 or something. You're USP isnt ice creme its steak Price per person: £20–30

came on a weekday so no wait for a table. butler steak was cooked to perfection, chips were crispy outside and fluffy inside, and can't go wrong with seasonal greens. good, proper food at a reasonable price. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Have visited twice now and each time the food has been superb. Perfectly cooked steak, beautiful fries and onion rings, and wonderful sauces. 99 to finish which is a glorious nostalgic end point. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
