Excellent food and ambience. Our waitress Shallu and waiter Rishab were very welcoming and always had a smile on their face. Especially Shallu went the extra mile for us it felt. They also have a special vegetarian lunch menu which was great for our needs. Also Jerishma was very welcoming at the entrance. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a premium, upscale Indian dining option in the centre of London. I went here for a celebration, with a large group of 11 people, and we went in a separate area/room which felt very atmospheric and I enjoyed the food (even with an allergy). Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £60–70 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking

What a wonderful dining experience. We visited as a party of 8 for a very special family celebration, and from the moment we arrived until we left, everything was handled with warmth, professionalism and genuine care. One thing I particularly appreciated was how accommodating the team were with our dietary requirements. Two of us follow a strict no onion, no garlic diet, and rather than treating it as an inconvenience, the chefs prepared dishes especially for us. The flavours were absolutely exceptional , beautifully balanced, full of depth and proof that great food doesn’t need to compromise because of dietary restrictions. I mean the grilled aubergine and the aloo tuk was to die for ! The service throughout the evening was impeccable. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and seemed to strike that perfect balance of being there whenever we needed her without ever being intrusive. She genuinely made us feel welcome and looked after. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambience, with tasteful décor that creates a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and larger celebrations. I was also pleasantly surprised that, despite us being a table of eight, there was no pressure through a minimum spend or unnecessary restrictions, which is becoming increasingly rare. It was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall feeling that the customer experience genuinely matters here. Tamarind delivered an evening that combined outstanding food, exceptional hospitality and a wonderful atmosphere. It’s not often that every aspect of a meal comes together so effortlessly, but this was one of those occasions. We’ll certainly be returning, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tamarind to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in London. Five stars.
