We always go to the restaurant the food is always really good but we had a takeaway from here yester and it was absolutely dreadful. We ordered two chicken madrassas the chicken had a funny taste to it as if it was a few days old and the Madras sauce was like water. I had chicken tikka as a starter and it was swimming in oil and again the chicken did not taste the best. We had chip which wasn't cooked and our naan bread tasted as if they been warm back up again not the best, the only thing which was ok was the rice. Don't think we will be ordering another takeaway from the tamarind in risca again. It's a same because we love going there for a sit-down meal not sure what happened but there loss

What an absolute shambles. Booked a table for 8pm, and still waiting a 9.15. We refused to pay for the drinks and walked out.
What a wasted evening!
